Title: Prism Portals

Painting: Oil on wood panel.

Inspiration for the work: Looking In, Looking out.

Original is unavailable. Numbered reproduction and prints offered.

'Prism Portals' translates to "may you always see the truth." I used the idea of prisms metaphorically for truth since prisms are derived from light sources which is pure energy, undiluted, unmanipulated, untainted and uncontrived. I used an eye to represent a doorway or portal to our inner self and knowing. The squares signify purity and are laid out as stepping stones leading to the portal.

With a matte finish, it measures 24 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 1 inch deep.

It is signed with red paint by the artist and ready to hang.

It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the artist.

This piece belongs to a body of work I created in the first 5 years of professionally painting. Each year is a series. This is the 2014 series.

This body of work was not available for purchase until now.

'Prism Portals' was completed February 1, 2014.

It is the 4th piece out of 16 pieces created for the 2014 collection: Looking in, Looking out - 2014.
